What data is processed and why
This website has no forms and does not ask for your data. The only data processed is what you send yourself when you write to info@hectorherrera.es: usually your name, your email address and whatever you include in your message. It is used to reply to you and, where relevant, to stay in touch about a job offer or a recruitment process.
In addition, as on any website, the server logs technical data about each visit (IP address, browser and page visited) so that the website works and stays secure.
Legal basis
To reply to your messages: the consent you give by writing (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, where there is a recruitment process, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)). For server logs: the legitimate interest in keeping the website secure (Article 6(1)(f)).
How long it is kept
Messages are kept for as long as the contact lasts and, after that, for as long as needed to deal with any legal liabilities. Server logs are deleted automatically in line with the hosting provider’s policy.
Who else can see it
Your data is not shared with anyone unless required by law. The web hosting provider (Hostinger) and the email provider process it only to deliver their service, as data processors.
Your rights
You can request access to, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, or object to its processing, by writing to info@hectorherrera.es. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
Cookies
This website does not use cookies or any analytics or advertising tools, and it does not load third-party content. That is why you will not see a cookie banner.
